Contact Originators is pleased to announce the appointment of Joanne Grundy to a new role within the company as Quality & Systems Manager.
Jo will continue to be the custodian of Contact’s growing list of accreditations, particularly in relation to Quality ISO 9001:2015 and Environmental ISO 14001:2015 standards. In her new role, she will also help drive the carbon and sustainability targets recently committed to by Contact Originators through its carbon reduction plan.
“Jo has done an absolute fantastic job in her current role as Operations Manager,” says Steve Mulcahy, CEO, Contact Originators Group. “She helped spearhead and implement our disaster recovery plans, following the fire at our former Bredbury site. Jo managed a committed team of production personnel, who exceeded all expectations, working under extreme pressure and conditions.
“We have come through the fire and Covid 19 in great shape and everyone is now settled into Contact’s new home in Dukinfield. Jo has played a major role in this and has received much thanks from both colleagues and directors alike,” adds Steve.
Jo, who has worked for the Contact Group for more than 25 years, sees her new role as an opportunity to continue to grow and develop both her existing skills whilst adding new ones to her impressive portfolio.
Jo comments: “I hope to further educate myself by completing further qualifications, including Six Sigma Green Belt and Lean Practitioner courses. I welcome the opportunity to do so with such focused support from Contact Originators.”
