Leading packaging origination and flexo platemaking company, Contact Originators, has achieved the first ever re-certification of Flint Group’s renowned FlexoExpert™ status with a world-wide record audit score of 97%.
Contact Originators became the first ever company to achieve FlexoExpert status in 2016. Re-certification is required every two years to retain the accreditation.
Joanne Grundy, Operations Manager at Contact Orignators, said: “This achievement reflects Contact Originators’ ethos that leaders never follow and reinforces the company’s reputation as a market-leader. Achieving the rigorous standards required for certification also demonstrates our ability to deliver the highest quality for our customers, consistently and reliably.
“To build on the success of having been the very first company to achieve FlexoExpert status with this world record score is absolutely fantastic and I would like to thank the entire team for their hard work.”
An extensive, in-depth audit is required to achieve re-certification in which an expert from Flint Group assesses every aspect of the platemaking process against the FlexoExpert core checklist. To be re-certified, FlexoExpert accredited companies must achieve 90% or more of the targeted goal.
Contact Originators has a proven track record of world first revolutionary developments. The company recently claimed a world first for its design and manufacture of MagnaForma™, a 2.8m wide mounted multi-piece photopolymer flexographic plate and was the first company to deliver extended gamut process printing for corrugate.
